Space Cares - Haitian Relief Effort.

Recently, Space donated time, money, and effort to get a team of doctors down to Haiti to assist in the relief efforts for the earthquake that struck the country in January of 2010.

This team of doctors assisted some of the most unfortunate victims of this tragedy, including a large number of young children, many of whom lost their families and their parents in this tragedy.

This represents an ongoing dedication on the part of Space to the local Haitian community in their relief efforts for their homeland, and our dedication to charitable causes around the world.

Space Cares - Building homes in Cambodia

Space's charity efforts reach around the world, including the war-torn Southeast Asian nation of Cambodia. Space recently helped fund the construction of homes in the village of Siem Reap, as pictured below. Photos courtesy of Dade Sokoloff, who traveled to Cambodia recently and toured the village.

The Techno Loft welcomes Nick Curly to the decks for his first-ever appearance at Space Miami.

One of the rising stars of the German techno scene, Nick had a banner year in 2008. Not content with simply making great music, as the owner of the Cecille and 8Bit labels, Nick has developed a talent as a taste-maker and overseen an amazing year for his labels as releases from the likes of Johnny D, SiS, Markus Fix, Robert Dietz, Lemos and Kreon have propelled many of these artists on to the global stage.

In addition, Norwegian favorites Djuma Soundsystem will be joining Nick on the decks this evening. A breakout act of 2009, these two Scandinavians have been tearing up the charts with their relentless remixes and productions

And as always Techno Loft resident DJ/Producers Maurizio + Danyelino and Dsan Powell will be on hand to round out the madness...
